The purpose of the Southeastern Bottled Water Association is to provide its members with information to enhance industry knowledge, category growth, and operating efficiencies.
The Association should be viewed as a resource in promoting greater levels of awareness for government relations, quality control, technical advancements, and public relations. Membership commitment toward improving communication and understanding will ultimately determine the success of the Association.
The SEBWA represents the southeastern regional bottled water industry… to government, to industry, to the public, and to the press and consumers as needed. It recommends policies, programs, and activities relating to the effective promotion of bottled water to customers and to the general public.
The SEBWA works closely with the International Bottled Water Association, technical divisions of large corporations, testing and inspecting agencies, and governmental entities. It pursues opportunities to improve consumer confidence in the southeastern market it represents.
SEBWA provides members with prime opportunities to discuss local issues and opportunities within your geographic region. It provides contact information concerning important agencies, resources, and professionals in the industry.
SEBWA provides members with representation through its Government Relations Committee. The Association provides a strong voice concerning regulatory and legislative issues which affect every bottled water company in our region. It monitors important legislative actions and works to prevent unwanted results. SEBWA works closely with state and federal government agencies and lawmakers.
Seminars and Meetings
SEBWA offers an annual forum including a multitude of presentations, seminars, and workshops on management, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and technical issues affecting the everyday business operations of its members. SEBWA hosts an annual trade show providing members a one-stop opportunity to find out about the latest in products and services available to the industry.
SEBWA works hard for its members through its Public Relations, Government Relations, Programs & Forums, Membership, Technical, Supplier, and Long Range Planning committees. SEBWA encourages involvement at the committee level by all its members.

It publishes a quarterly online newsletter and periodic news bulletins to keep members abreast of the inner-workings of SEBWA, the industry, and its members.
The SEBWA provides ongoing technical handbooks containing vital technical support material as well as seminars and presentations designed to ensure that its members remain up-to-date and informed concerning technical requirements and preventative measures.
